Founder · Software EngineerI'm Seifeldin, a software engineer based in Antwerp. I build fast, modern websites for local practices and take on software development and IT consulting for teams that need clear technical thinking.
Currently leading backend and infrastructure work at QFacts. I migrated the codebase to a type-safe monorepo and architected the Stripe billing system end to end. I moved our email and notification system to an event-driven architecture, and did the same for file processing and handling, cutting retries, reducing wait times, and handling autoscaling as we grew. I work across TypeScript/NestJS, GCP (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Pulumi), and event-driven architecture.
Architecture matters more than code writing now. System design, infrastructure, CI/CD, reliability, that's where the real decisions get made. I keep up with AI tooling by actually using it daily (Codex, Claude, open-source models with coding harnesses) and I'm always testing where open-source models close the gap on frontier ones.
